Puffin Coffee

Puffin Coffee is a family run coffee shop serving a bespoke fair-trade, organic blend of fresh coffee. Located in Kilchoan on the Ardnamurchan peninsula, we truly are in the wild west; the peninsula being the most westerly point of mainland Britain! The area is home to beautiful white sandy beaches and marine wildlife and Puffin Coffee is perfectly situated to provide a much needed brew after outdoor adventuring.

RODDY

Roddy grew up on the Isle of Mull although originally he is from the Isle of Skye, he moved to the Isle of Mull at the age of 8 when the bridge connecting Skye and the mainland was built, retaining his title as a true island boy! With his 22ft yacht Roddy began exploring life beyond Tobermory and discovered Kilchoan and the Ardnamurchan peninsula where Puffin Coffee was born.

OLIVIA

Olivia is from the seaside resort of Tenby in Wales. She studied in St Andrews University and after graduating traded the east coast for the west coast, after all... west is best! Olivia is a keen Scuba diver and has dived in Honduras, Belize, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, New Caledonia and Vanuatu to name but a few!

 

We met whilst sailing the Sea of the Hebrides, and since then we have lived and worked in New Zealand. We have sailed from Australia to New Caledonia and Vanuatu on a scuba diving expedition. In 2016, we hiked from the most southern tip of Chile up through Argentina and into Bolivia. We visited Peru, worked in Ecuador for 6 months and spent a few months in Colombia.
